Australian- born Deirdre Exell Pirro is an international lawyer and freelance journalist who lives and works in Florence, Italy. Among her many activities, she is International Relations Officer for a United Nations’ accredited NGO called ICEF – International Court of the Environment Foundation – in Rome, which was set up under the auspices of the Italian Supreme Court. She has been a member of IAW since 2004 and she is also Vice President of the American International League of Florence Onlus which supports charities at home and abroad.
