US$ 50,000 to two laureates

2022 UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education

There are global crises in which girls suffer disproportionately. And then every now and then shines a glimmer of light.

One of those bright spots is that UNESCO is awarding US$50,000 to two applicants who excel in the field of girls’ and women’s education (GWE).

The deadline for the call for nominations of the 2022 edition of the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education has been extended until Friday 3 June 2022.
