Themes

Priority theme:

Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers

Review theme:

Women’s full and effective participation and decision making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls (agreed conclusions of the sixty-fifth session)

Written Statement

IAW will publish a written statement for the CSW70. It will be carefully drafted with the participants who will be attending CSW70 in person or online, based on the specified themes of CSW70.

CSW70 Task Force

Online Meetings with the CSW70 Task Force

At the Board Meeting of the International Alliance of Women (IAW) in 2024 a Task Force was installed, in order to ensure good preparation for the upcoming CSW. 

The Task Force CSW70 consists of the following members:
