UNESCO invites nominations for the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize 2024

UNESCO invites individuals, civil society actors, and governmental and non-governmental organizations to nominate candidates for the 2024 UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence.

Nominations for individuals who promote peace and tolerance worldwide are open until July 22, 2024, at midnight (GMT +2).

The UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence is awarded biennially. Established in 1995, it honors individuals or institutions making significant contributions to tolerance and non-violence, in line with UNESCO’s principles. Named after Indian artist and diplomat Madanjeet Singh, the prize includes a monetary award of $100,000. It supports efforts fostering peace, dialogue, and mutual understanding among diverse cultures and communities.
