I WISHED TO ATTEND BECAUSE:
I wanted to understand the international and intergovernmental work of various NGOs at work for women’s rights, and for women from rural communities, and women working in media and with ICT.

Keynote speaker was Sizani Ngubane, Founder of Rural Women’s Movement South Africa and this year’s recipient of CSW’s Woman of Distinction Award. Sizani was nominated by the International Alliance of Women for her remarkable work.
